Topic: Oceanius.com has gone Web 2.0 / Wiki?

I decided to give Oceanius.com a proper Web 2.0 face-lift. Check it out at http://www.oceanius.com cool

I'm considering adding a wiki to our assortment of websites, does anyone have feedback regarding this? What software to use, how to moderate it, etc.?

We had a wiki about a year or so ago (it might've been longer) but we took it down to abuse. I'd like to find a way to get one up and running so that we can get even more community involvement with maintaining our image on the web.

MediaWiki is nice, and has loads of features. DokuWiki is nice as well, it works with ACL's and Groups for permissions.

Putting the fun back in funnel.

Forgot to mention, this is a temporary design for oceanius.com until a custom one is created. I have Jeff (Toggi3) working on a design because he did a nice job with the Radio Statler! website. (http://radio.hope.net).

Ugh, I hope he refrains from using gradients like done on that site (bottom of header bar), first lesson in design which I got: Stay away from gradients.

Putting the fun back in funnel.

already it has good design - for me, it's: 1) a minimum of pictures that consumes time and traffic when loading page, and 2) usability smile
